Armed with a new brand, YONDA Holiday Club wanted to go further for its travel subscribers. Initially, I was asked to create several backend interface designs and an online digital magazine. After completing my Marketing degree, I was offered a position as a part-time in-house contractor. Enjoying all aspects of print and digital design, I was responsible for ad creative, window signage, marketing materials, EDM designs, GIF animations and additional website and interface designs.
My favourite design project has been the digital magazine. From start to finish, I curated content, designed layouts and crafted a unique identity that seamlessly integrated with YONDA's style. Evoking a luxurious and high-end feel, the magazine is airy and relaxed, just like a tranquil holiday. This allows readers to escape into the magazine and GoBeyond into a world of wanderlust.
In addition to designing the magazine, I was offered ongoing projects. These included a customer relations system design, business-to-business presentation, EDM design, B2C marketing materials, window signage, billboard campaign concepts and more. Using prior knowledge in user interface design, I created an intuitive but powerful backend interface. These designs formed the foundation of functionality and aesthetics for a third party to develop them into a functional system.
