A few initial design projects expanded into a part-time role as an in-house graphic designer-marketer hybrid. YONDA needed to create brand awareness and educate consumers about their technology platform. Brand development and communication were required to gain acceptance and trust from the public, establishing YONDA as a vibrant travel and lifestyle hub.
The first task completed was a thorough social media audit to gauge brand awareness, consumer sentiment, and corporate reputation. The audit showed that YONDA needed to deliver engaging and authentic content to drive likes, follows, comments and value for its viewers. This led to a detailed action plan handed to an external resource to implement. Through social media and Facebook Ad campaigns, YONDA's database of subscribers grew, and further brand awareness was created.
When YONDA's business development and marketing goals were established, I was able to implement supporting Facebook Ad campaigns. From deciding the campaign objective, I designed the ad creative, wrote the messaging, and defined the target audience.
To further support marketing efforts, I deliver weekly branded email marketing to the 40,000 email subscribers through ActiveCampaign. These emails include gif animations, attention-grabbing subject lines, exciting offers, CTAs and valuable content for subscribers. I uncovered the best times and days to send emails to subscribers through data analysis. Throughout my role, open rates have increased as people become more familiar with the content and the value we provide for subscribers.
